Who can become a member?

Membership of the Network is open to fire-related museums, other general museums or
organisations connected to or having a permanent display on the topic of fire heritage, or an
organisation catering for members with similar interests.
We are the only national network representing all the major fire heritage collections in the UK.
We are recognised by Arts Council England under the Subject Specialist Network scheme.
We provide a regular Newsletter to member organisations.
We can provide support and advice on restoration projects.
We hold an Annual Seminar and AGM for members.
Unfortunately, the Network does not cater for individual members, however many of our member
organisations were set up to represent the interests of their own membership, be they
photographers, collectors, restorers, writers or students.
